If you want a perkier rear end, sitting on a bike, running on a treadmill or copying your partners weights programme isn’t the answer. You must train your glutes directly for the best results. Great exercises to add to your workouts would include ‘glute bridges’, ‘lateral lunges’ and side lying abduction 2-3 times a week. Make sense?

Always Have A Plan

Now you have made the leap to scrap the boring and repetitive cross trainer and give weight lifting a go, be sure to throw in some interval training to keep your heart rate high.

Decide how many times a week you can and want to train, what exercises you are going to do on what days and stick to it record what you do and make sure you try harder each week. You won’t see results overnight but a few months down the line peoples heads will turn!
